Daycare Director Position

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Daycare Director to lead our childcare program. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Daycare, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and managing a team of diverse staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a high-quality, child-centred program that promotes child development and addresses the needs of children of diverse age groups.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, manage resources effectively and foster a positive work environment.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children and staff, develop and implement policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries, maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Maintain seamless operations in compliance with safety regulations, maintaining high standards of childcare practices and institutional policies.
  • Engage with parents on their child's development and well-being, manage communication channels to ensure effective engagement and communication with parents.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with children in various settings.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with children, parents, and staff.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • At least a Bachelor's (Hons) degree from a reputable University.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in a similar role.
