Head of E-commerce Strategy

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of E-commerce to lead our online sales division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing an e-commerce strategy that enhances customer experience, drives sales, and boosts conversion rates.

This leadership role involves overseeing the e-commerce team to ensure effective and efficient operations, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute strategies and drive business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Manage the entire e-commerce journey, leading a cross-functional team including trading, sales, content, and digital marketing.
  • Budget management: Set and monitor KPIs aligned with business objectives.
  • Optimize site performance, identify innovative tech solutions, and work with third parties on projects that enhance user experience.
  • Merchandising: Oversee product merchandising, monitor inventory, and identify replenishment and growth opportunities.
  • Digital marketing: Collaborate with marketing, communications, and social media teams to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs to communicate progress to stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. 8-10+ years of e-commerce experience with a proven record of revenue growth.
  2. Data-driven with skills in tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar.
  3. Experience optimizing online presence across websites and omnichannel strategies.
  4. Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and understanding digital marketing and UX design fundamentals.
  5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams.
  6. Excellent commercial acumen and budget management experience.
  7. Exceptional communication skills.
