Construction Project Manager

A construction project manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.

The role involves ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This includes managing and coordinating teams of contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines. A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations is essential, as well as experience in cost estimation, scheduling, and risk management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing project plans, budgets, and schedules;
  • Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services;
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs, including identifying areas for cost savings and implementing measures to mitigate risks;
  • Managing and resolving conflicts between team members, contractors, and clients;
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards;

Eligibility criteria / requirements:

  • Minimum B Tech (Mechanical) degree from a recognized institution;
  • Computer literacy is essential;
  • Minimum five years of working experience in the field of construction work, preferably in a similar role or related discipline;
