Job Title: Chief Project Manager

A Civil Engineering project manager is required to oversee various construction projects within the Sindh region. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols by coordinating with different departments and supervising project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning: Plan civil works using construction management techniques to ensure projects are completed within specified timelines while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  2. Scheduling: Schedule construction activities to meet project deadlines.
  3. Site Inspections: Conduct inspections of construction sites to assess project progress and verify compliance with design specifications, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  4. Design Review: Review project drawings and coordinate with the planning & development department for feedback and inputs to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  5. Preliminary Surveys: Organize preliminary site surveys for planning, preparation, and deployment of manpower, ensuring efficient project execution.
  6. Safety Management: Assess safety risks to comply with the company's health, safety & environment policy and objectives, implementing measures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  7. Team Facilitation: Facilitate project engineers and construction coordinators in preparing construction plans covering strategy, methodology, and timelines, obtaining approval from the competent authority.
  8. Civil Works Approval: Review and approve civil works and materials as per tender requirement.
  9. Regulatory Compliance: Lead activities to ensure compliance with applicable construction and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance.
  10. Resource Mobilization: Mobilize appropriate resources for project execution.
  11. Construction Site Office: Plan construction of site offices to mobilize manpower and commence project work, optimizing resources for project success.
  12. Progress Reviews: Regularly review progress reports on development work, proactively identifying and resolving emerging issues to ensure project completion within stipulated timelines.
  13. Contract Review: Review contract terms, supervise the process to obtain necessary permits and licenses, ensuring legal compliance for construction activities.
  14. Risk Management: Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks that may cause delays in the construction project, implementing strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  15. Risk Assessment: Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership.
  16. Risk Response: Develop and implement risk response strategies for the risks under their management.
