Strategic Sourcing Manager

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly experienced Senior Sourcing Manager to join our organization and make a significant impact in the textile industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing business relationships with external suppliers, monitoring negotiated contracts to ensure quality and service requirements are met.

A key aspect of this role will be to create a representative office in Karachi to coordinate all sourcing activities, increase new product development speed to market, and develop new processes to support revenue growth opportunities.

The Strategic Sourcing Manager will also lead the implementation of Asian sourcing activities that meet company strategic objectives, analyze industry trends to assess short- and long-term strategic sourcing goals and objectives, and develop and communicate pricing forecasts for use in business planning.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will track key performance metrics, including on-time delivery, quality assurance rating, and factory capacities.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have 7+ years of textile industry experience, senior management sourcing experience, and knowledge of internal purchasing procedures and processes.

Candidates should also possess proficient knowledge of textile and apparel manufacturers throughout Pakistan and Sri Lanka, as well as a demonstrated track record for improving supplier performance and reducing cost.

A flexible interpersonal style and effective communication methods to influence and build relationships with business partners are essential for success in this role.

In addition, strong procurement experience or the ability to acquire complex strategic procurement skills is required.

Some travel may be required for this position.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in management, engineering, textiles, or related field experience.
