Job Description

Lead the end-to-end capital portfolio, overseeing annual asset conditional assessments and developing the facility investment plan. Ensure the site's capital expenditure (CAPEX) budget aligns with GSK safety, quality & compliance standards.

  • Directly lead end-to-end delivery of engineering projects across various domains, including sustainable energy, operational & utilities engineering upgrades, and construction projects.
  • Maintain good documentation practices for all projects according to the project management framework.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering and 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Collaborate with finance teams to track and ensure site deliveries meet capex commitments.
  • Build staff capability to meet engineering standards through training and development.
  • Sound technical and leadership skills, with strong teamwork, interpersonal, networking, and communication skills.
  • Influencing skills to manage conflict and influence upwards to set medium and long-term direction for change programs.
  • Knowledge of government and state legislation, as well as project management, construction safety requirements, and budgeting and analytics tools.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.

Monitor progress, compile reports on project status, and manage site CAPEX budget to achieve target spend through relevant KPIs and analysis.

  • Develop BOQs, manage budget, and purchase materials/equipment by deploying total system cost concept and forecasting material requirement.
  • Identify and prioritize replacement or upgrade of processes, equipment, and components at site that can deliver high return on investment through continuous improvement.
  • Provide useful inputs in planning capacity and forecasting utilization.
  • Plan the induction of new maintenance concepts.
  • Comply with international standards, best industry practices, local laws, guidelines, and regulations, including permits and safety.
  • Deploy PMF and PSM Playbook.
