Job Title: Medical Field Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Medical Field Officer in our department. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting household visits, collecting data, and supporting research activities.

About the Role

The Medical Field Officer will work closely with our team to collect data from households across different locations. This will involve conducting interviews, collecting anthropometric measurements, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, the officer will provide logistical support to the research team and ensure timely data submission.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct household visits as per project protocol
  • Collect maternal and newborn anthropometric measurements
  • Support the Senior Research Assistant during field activities
  • Provide logistic support to the research team
  • Ensure timely data collection and submission
  • Report any challenges to the supervisor promptly
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Matriculation or above
  • At least 1 year of experience in a hospital or research facility
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Word and Excel
