Job Opportunity: Project Implementation Support Specialist

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting livestock-related interventions in Balochistan, ensuring the effective implementation of activities such as equipment distribution and capacity building in line with FAO standards and donor requirements.

The position has a strong technical focus on monitoring the workplan to guarantee the timely delivery of all expected outputs and deliverables. It also involves identifying and escalating risks, delays, or operational challenges, and supporting the development of mitigation measures in coordination with relevant units.

Additionally, the candidate will contribute to knowledge sharing, lessons learned documentation, and the capitalization of good practices to inform future interventions. They will facilitate coordination and communication among programme, operations, MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning), communication, administration, finance, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure coherent and timely project implementation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Agricultural engineering diploma in Agriculture or Livestock Sciences is an asset.
  • One to four years of relevant experience in project implementation in livestock/agriculture/rural development programmes.
  • Working knowledge of English is required.
