As a technical leader, you will drive impact across teams, technologies, and projects in our AML/KYC team of Consumer & Community Banking. You will oversee multiple complex projects and initiatives, making primary decisions and driving innovation and solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technology and process implementations for the AML/KYC product.
  • Drive a team of talented engineers to solve customer business problems and promote the adoption of Cloud services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and business leaders to define and execute the cloud roadmap.
  • Work closely with Product and Business teams to deliver technology solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Make decisions influencing team resources, budgets, operations, and process implementations.
  • Ensure governance over coding decisions, control obligations, and success metrics such as cost of ownership and maintainability.
  • Deliver technical solutions that are scalable across multiple businesses and domains.
  • Influence peer leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 10+ years of applied experience; additionally, 5+ years leading technologists managing complex technical projects.
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams to deliver mission-critical projects.
  • Experience in developing and deploying solutions on AWS.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, Kafka, etc.
  • Proficiency in developing large-scale systems using Java Spring Boot & React.
  • Experience with various database technologies.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies and trends.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to develop meaningful relationships.
  • Hands-on experience with coding.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership of large enterprise teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services.
  • AML/KYC domain experience.
