The Role of Environmental Policy Analyst is a pivotal position in our organization, requiring an individual to lead the production of the Policy and Institutional Review (PIR) and provide initial inputs to start the development of the Biodiversity Finance Plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Production of the Policy and Institutional Review (PIR)
  • Provide Initial Inputs for the Biodiversity Finance Plan

For this role, we are seeking an expert in environmental policy and biodiversity-related projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public policy or economic policy with an environment/biodiversity/economic focus.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree (Master's or equivalent) in Public Policy or Economic Policy with an Environment/Biodiversity/Economic focus or an Environmental/Biodiversity with a Public Policy focus
  • A first-level university degree (Bachelor's degree) in above-mentioned areas in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience

Additional Requirements

  • Experience in preparing publications, reports, and presentations
  • Experience in collaborating with international and national experts and institutions
  • Familiarity with key software packages (MS Office), quantum, and PIMS+

Language Proficiency

  • Fluency in English and Urdu language is required
