Job Title: Payroll Specialist

This role focuses on payroll processing and provident fund administration.

  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll for all employees across various entities.
  • Manage payroll systems, including staff additions and deletions, ensuring all changes are reflected accurately and timely.
  • Process loan and advance requests in accordance with established policies, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines.
  • Oversee exit formalities for departing employees, including final settlements and accounting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with income tax, SESSI, PESSI, EOBI, and professional tax regulations.
  • Prepare and submit returns for SESSI, PESSI, and EOBI, adhering to government regulations.
  • Timely submission of tax and statutory deductions to the government treasury is essential.
  • Manage provident funds, including member addition, deletion, and profit allocation.
  • Process loan applications, temporary withdrawals, and permanent withdrawal requests from provident fund members.
  • Annual profit distribution to provident fund members requires coordination with accounting systems.
  • External audits of provident funds necessitate preparation and review of tax returns.

This position demands proven experience in payroll processing and retirement fund administration. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or a related field is required. Strong knowledge of compliance regulations is essential, along with excellent communication skills and collaborative working abilities.
