Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Payroll and Tax Specialist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in payroll software, QuickBooks, taxes, and accounting activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and filing 1099 and W2 forms
  • Managing payroll processes and related accounting activities
  • Utilizing QuickBooks for payroll and accounting tasks
  • Providing responsive services to clients
  • Using multiple cloud-based software for payroll, tax, and accounting functions
  • Communicating effectively with clients via phone, text, and email
  • Preparing and filing quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
  • Working on and resolving State and Federal tax notices

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in a relevant field
  • 1+ year of experience in a supervisor position
  • ACCA, CA partially qualified, or equivalent
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • High degree of computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and specifically Excel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Experience with US payroll processes
