About The Role

  • The successful candidate will lead a team of teachers to promote high standards of evidence-based learning and teaching at the school.
  • They will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and supporting staff to ensure the school's academic success.
  • The role involves promoting a culture of mutual respect, collaboration, and continuous learning within the school community.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Recruit, develop, and support talented teachers through training sessions and performance assessments.
  2. Develop and implement effective strategies to improve student performance by reviewing student work and providing constructive feedback.
  3. Organize co-curricular activities, timetables, assemblies, periods, displays, libraries, and laboratories to promote a positive school environment.
  4. Attend training sessions and conduct on-the-job training for faculty members.
  5. Conduct regular term tests and examinations in a transparent and timely manner.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with the local community to promote education and increase student enrollment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, staff leave, and school finances.
  • Cooperate with HR teams to manage staff hiring, retention, performance management, and other HR-related matters.
  • Ensure the maintenance of school buildings and premises, including utility services.
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with educational regulations.
  • Submit regular reports and documents to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
  • Proven experience in school leadership and administration.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, and the local community.
