Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role will involve remote support to users, troubleshooting any issues that arise.

  • Closely coordinate with technical staff to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Assess client requirements, design system architecture/solutions accordingly, and implement disaster recovery, fault tolerance, and fallback solutions.
Responsibilities:
  1. Manage IT infrastructure (physical and virtual) for all clients.
  2. Maintain and optimize hardware performance, including server upgrades, RAM increases, hard drives, and network cards.
  3. Implement security patches across all servers and appliances.
  4. Maintain endpoint security, keeping EDRs, AVs, and patch management up to date for all clients.
  5. Collaborate with network, cloud, and helpdesk teams to optimize client infrastructure.
  6. Manage storage area networks where applicable.
  7. Handle operating system-related issues.
  8. Maintain access rights and file server security.
  9. Manage complex domain environments, including domain controllers, ADS, RODCs, Azure AD, and Active Directory in multi-site, on-premises, and cloud environments.
  10. Serve as a technical expert in system administration for complex operating systems.
  11. Install and configure new software and hardware, including servers, network devices, and firewalls.
  12. Monitor system performance, operations, and storage utilization.
  13. Plan hardware and software upgrades to support growth.
  14. Manage user accounts, assets, and security permissions according to policies.
Requirements:
  • BSc or MSc in IT, CS, SE, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of IT or related experience.
  • Professional IT certifications such as Microsoft MCP, MCITP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, VMware VCP, AZ-104, MS-300/301.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including communication, active listening, and customer care.
  • Technical diagnosis skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly.
  • Technical awareness to match resources to issues.
  • Understanding support tools and how technology supports IT services.
