Interior Design Consultant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interior Design Consultant to join our team.

  • The successful candidate will provide expert design guidance and innovative solutions for kitchen, door, and wardrobe projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customers throughout each project stage, from initial site measurement to final installation.
  • Create customized 3D designs using software based on customer profiling and presentations.
  • Coordinate site verification and oversee installation processes to ensure quality and design accuracy.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and maintain an updated opportunity matrix.
  • Coordinate with architects and contractors involved in client pending civil work.
  • Process client quotations and orders according to approved terms and conditions.
  • Follow up with the technical team for timely revisions.
  • Review quotations and drawings developed by the technical department.
  • Manage and maintain display area in proper condition.
  • Conduct visits for new leads/business development and regularly visit the field to generate sales.
  • Send progress reports to clients and architects every 15 days, from project start to completion.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Product Design, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in design consulting, specifically in kitchens, doors, and wardrobes.
  • Strong proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-oriented approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality.
  • Attention to detail and understanding of market trends in interior design and furniture.
