
Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in IT recruitment, specifically hiring software developers and technical professionals.
- This role involves managing the full lifecycle of recruitment for developer roles from sourcing to placement.
- The successful candidate will develop job descriptions and hiring criteria in collaboration with hiring managers.
- They will identify and engage potential candidates through various sourcing methods such as LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking, and industry events.
The Technical Recruiter will be responsible for:
- Screening resumes and applications to shortlist candidates who meet the technical and cultural fit.
- Conducting initial interviews (phone/video) to assess candidates' technical skills, experience, and motivations.
- Coodinating and scheduling technical interviews with development teams.
The successful candidate will understand the technical requirements for developer roles and partner with technical teams to create relevant coding challenges or technical tests.
They will evaluate candidates' technical skills and collaborate with engineering teams to review candidate performance on technical assessments.
Candidate ExperienceThe Technical Recruiter will ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
They will provide regular updates to candidates on the status of their application.
Negotiating job offers, compensation packages, and close candidates effectively.
Talent Pool DevelopmentThe successful candidate will build and maintain a strong pipeline of developer talent for current and future hiring needs.
They will create and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract diverse candidates.
Engage with potential candidates proactively through online forums, hackathons, meetups, and developer communities.
Stay informed about the latest trends in the tech industry and recruitment.
Track key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, candidate satisfaction) and report on performance.
Analyze market trends and competitors to ensure the company's offerings remain competitive.
Collaboration with Hiring ManagersThe Technical Recruiter will regularly meet with hiring managers and technical teams to understand hiring needs and update on the status of recruitment efforts.
Provide guidance to hiring managers on best practices for interviewing and candidate evaluation.
Required Skills & QualificationsThe successful candidate will possess:
- A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) like Greenhouse, Lever, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of interview techniques, candidate assessments, and offer negotiation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike.
- A high level of organization and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
