Job Description

About the Position
We require a highly skilled accountant to file our statutory and/or tax accounts for our office. We need an individual who will ensure that our books are well maintained, balanced, and up-to-date, along with covering our tax obligations.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing financial statements, business plans, and budget reports.
  • Collaborating with internal or external auditors and dealing with any financial irregularities as they arise.
  • Advising on tax planning and tax issues and managing the filing of tax returns.
  • Overseeing accounting processes and systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with UK regulations.
  • Creating and presenting monthly financial reports.
  • Reviewing company's systems and analyzing risk.
  • Providing financial advice.
  • Detecting and preventing fraud.
  • Producing reports and recommendations following internal audits.
  • Arranging financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting.
  • Preparing Corporation Tax computations and Company Tax Returns.
  • Accountancy and auditing.
