Senior Accountant Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with at least 5 years of practice experience working on UK client accounts. This position is based in our Islamabad office and covers bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, statutory accounts, and Companies House filings.

Your Role:

- Independently manage and review your work with accuracy.

- Support and train junior team members.

- Work across a variety of clients and industries.

- Build and manage a dedicated client portfolio team.

Growth Opportunities:

Progression to Head Accountant and eventually Portfolio Manager is available for high-performing team members.

Head of Finance & Operations (ACCA Qualified) Role Overview:

This senior leadership role combines hands-on accounting with strategic oversight of our growing Pakistan team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise, mentor, and train multi-level accounting staff.

- Prepare and review UK statutory accounts, VAT returns, and CT600s.

- Lead month-end and year-end processes.

- Optimize use of Xero, TaxCalc, and Excel-based systems.

- Lead recruitment and team expansion aligned with business growth.

- Ensure delivery of all KPIs and quarterly targets.

Candidate Requirements:

- ACCA-qualified with experience in accountancy practice.

- Minimum 5 years preparing accounts and tax returns.

- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

- Proficiency in Xero, TaxCalc, Excel.

- Experience leading and training teams.
