This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining a data platform that is accurate, secure, available, and fast. Key responsibilities include integrating and maintaining various data sources, creating standardized datasets, developing subject-matter expertise, partnering with product and engineering teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and performing data quality checks.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop a scalable data platform.
  • Integrate multiple data sources: databases, APIs, files, logs, events, etc.
  • Create consistent datasets for diverse use cases.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of tables, systems, and processes.
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of product changes.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Analyze data quality and implement automated quality control processes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Expertise in Star/Snowflake schema design, data modeling, data pipelining, and MLOps.
  • Familiarity with Data Warehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift).
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one major programming language like Python or Java.
  • Experience with Data Analysis Tools such as Looker or Tableau.
  • Good understanding of Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, and Jupyter notebooks; familiarity with Git, GitHub, and Jira.
