Tax Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Tax production, filing, and correspondence with clients and senior management
  • Management accounts production and financial statement preparation
  • Resolving bookkeeping queries and liaising with clients
  • Value-added Tax (VAT) returns preparation for a client portfolio
  • Year-end financial accounts preparation
  • Approval/preparation of Corporation and Personal Tax Returns
  • Debtors and Creditors reconciliation
  • HMRC dealings and analysis of financial statements
  • Tax planning for individuals and limited companies
  • Expertise in XERO, QuickBooks and TaxCalc software
Core Requirements:
  • CORPORATE TAX EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years in UK corporate tax compliance.
  • PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION: ACCA Qualified.
  • CORE COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Strong professional communication skills.
  • TECHNICAL COMPETENCE: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office.
  • ANALYTICAL PROWESS: Demonstrated strength in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
