Job Title: Human Resource Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Human Resource Specialist to lead our HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
  • Ensures effective communication with employees through organizational announcements.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to organization employees.
  • Serves as a point of contact with benefit vendors/administrators for seamless coordination.
  • Schedules appointments, arranges meetings, and maintains calendars for the HR management team.
  • Maintains Holiday calendar for the team.
  • Compiles reports, prepares spreadsheets, and analyzes data to inform business decisions.
Recruitment Process:
  • Develops strategic hiring models for each position to ensure alignment.
  • Creates head count forecasts based on company goals to inform recruitment efforts.
  • Participates in recruitment efforts to attract top talent.
  • Posts job ads, organizes resumes, and manages job applications.
  • Schedules job interviews and assists in the interview process to ensure fairness and consistency.
  • Collects employment and tax information from candidates.
  • Ensures background and reference checks are completed before making offers.
  • Prepares new employee files, including compensation and benefit documentation.
  • Orients new employees to the organization, setting up necessary log-ins, workstations, and email addresses.
  • Administers assessments to evaluate candidate fit.
  • Serves as a point person for all new employee questions and concerns.
Record Maintenance:
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date HR files and databases.
  • Updates and maintains employee benefits, employment status, and similar records.
  • Maintains records related to grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
  • Performs file audits to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Completes termination paperwork and assists with exit interviews to ensure smooth transitions.
