Technical Project Management Role

We're seeking a highly motivated Technical Project Manager to lead the execution of critical enterprise-wide projects, including key technology initiatives.

This is a high-impact role where you will directly contribute to HugoBank's operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk management, and dependency tracking
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, progress reports, and risk assessments
  • Ensure strict adherence to Technology Project Management Policy across all relevant projects
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external inspection teams, addressing queries and providing necessary documentation
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as necessary
  • Monitor project progress against established timelines and budgets, taking corrective action when needed
  • Implement and maintain project management best practices and methodologies
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes within the organization
  • Manage project resources and track expenditures
Requirements
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in technology project management, especially within the banking or fintech sectors
  • Strong expertise in Agile project management methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, Agile Practitioner, or equivalent are highly preferred
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, or Trello
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience in working within regulated environments, with a good understanding of guidelines as an advantage
