Cloud Data Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines using cloud-native technologies.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Google Cloud Platform, Apache Airflow, and BigQuery. They will be responsible for building and optimizing data models for performance and cost-efficiency, as well as implementing robust ETL/ELT pipelines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines using cloud-native technologies.
  • Build and optimize data models in BigQuery for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load structured and semi-structured data.
  • Leverage GCP services like Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Cloud Functions to build resilient event-driven data workflows.
  • Implement CI/CD for data pipelines using tools like Cloud Composer, managed Airflow, Git, and Terraform.
  • Ensure proper data classification, access control, and audit logging within GCP.
  • Build proactive monitoring for pipeline health and data quality using tools like Stackdriver and custom Airflow alerting mechanisms.
  • Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality timely data products.
