Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Azure Databricks

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with expertise in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data architectures on Azure Databricks.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-performance data pipelines and architectures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions that meet business requirements.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of big data principles, techniques, and best practices, including experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, and cloud-based data processing technologies. They will also have excellent programming skills in Python, Scala, and SQL, with the ability to write efficient and optimized code.

In addition to technical skills, the candidate will possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain large-scale data architectures on Azure Databricks.
  • Develop and implement data pipelines using Apache Spark and Databricks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a data engineer with expertise in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data architectures.
  • Strong understanding of big data principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, and cloud-based data processing technologies.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python, Scala, and SQL.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
