Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and experienced professional to lead our sales and pricing efforts for lubricants in various channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive sales strategy that drives volume and profitability across all channels.
  • Select an optimal mix of channels to execute the sales strategy and achieve business objectives.
  • Design and implement category and channel plans to drive sales growth, market coverage, and reach.
  • Analyze industry trends, market opportunities, and consumer insights to refine the sales strategy as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategy implementation and ensure seamless execution.
  • Execute portfolio strategies and suggest new product launches or modifications to existing products.
  • Develop and maintain sales and channel monitoring mechanisms, and liaise with stakeholders to develop a lubricant tracking system integrated with SAP.
  • Prepare reports, trackers, and spreadsheets for management and sales teams to inform decision-making.
  • Monitor margins and establish a framework for pricing and discounting.
  • Develop and streamline forecasting processes to ensure inventory sustainability.
  • Conduct regular price-related research and customer surveys to understand price drivers, brand equity, and price elasticity.
  • Drive strategic price positioning for the category based on business and brand plans.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree from a recognized university or institution in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization, with 2-6 years of functional experience in Lubricant, Pricing, Business Development, and Sales.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, conflict resolution, decision-making, strategic thinking, time management, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Able to influence and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of SAP is required.
