The Role of a Test Automation Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced test automation specialist to join our team. As a test automation specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality automated test solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify testing gaps, and develop test strategies.

You will have a strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. You will also have experience working with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, such as Jenkins, and be proficient in programming languages like Java.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful test automation projects, with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and reliability. They will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in test automation, with a focus on delivering high-quality automated test solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages like Java, Cucumber, and Selenium.
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and a strong understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
