Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical software quality assurance engineer to ensure the quality and performance of our applications.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, as well as a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts;
  • Performing functional, regression, integration, and system testing;
  • Conducting cross-browser testing to ensure compatibility across multiple web browsers;
  • Performing load and performance testing to assess system stability and scalability;
  • Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright;
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using bug tracking tools;
  • Working closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure product quality;
  • Maintaining test environments and ensuring test data is properly managed;
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in software testing.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance;
  • Experience with cross-browser testing using tools like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar;
  • Familiarity with load and performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling;
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices;
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.);
  • Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools;
  • Proficiency in writing test scripts in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with mobile application testing (iOS, Android);
  • Experience with security testing methodologies and tools;
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent.
