As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering cutting-edge solutions using Golang and other technologies such as Vue 3, Docker, Kubernetes, and Postgres. Your role will be critical in the development and maintenance of our robust applications and services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate technical and business aspects of software development activities, including requirement analysis, design and implementation of applications.

  • Provide expert opinion and guidance on business & technical matters as a seasoned resource and principal developer in project teams.

  • Take on additional responsibilities as and when required, encouraging cohesion and team building.

  • Act as a point of contact for technical issues for specific work streams across multiple projects.

  • Proactively plan and strategize with team members on possible issues and suggest workable alternatives.

  • Mentor other technical staff, assist them where needed, and lead the effort in resolving technical challenges.

  • Guide and participate in recruiting best technical talent for the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Golang.

  • Proficient in Golang with hands-on experience in building scalable backend services.

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Postgres is preferred, familiarity with frontend frameworks like Vue 3 is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, proactive approach, and effective communication skills.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience with cloud platforms and services is a plus (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
