Data Engineering Expert

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to drive our data engineering efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Data Architecture: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data architectures that meet business needs.
  • ETL Process Management: Develop and maintain scalable ETL processes to ensure high-quality data delivery.
  • Data Storage Optimization: Optimize data storage solutions to improve performance and reduce costs.
  • Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior data engineers and promote best practices in data engineering.
  • Tech Stewardship: Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to drive business growth.
Qualifications
  • Database Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Data Pipeline Tools: Proven experience with data pipeline and ETL tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Airflow).
  • Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Cloud and Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
