Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for education?

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our Learning Management System (LMS) project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from development to implementation.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to make a real impact in the education sector. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  1. Facilitating task planning, release planning, daily stand-ups, and demos.
  2. Prioritizing project tasks to meet major milestones.
  3. Identifying and managing dependencies with systems, engineering, and coordination teams.
  4. Proactively managing project conflicts and removing impediments/blockers in order to keep teams highly productive.
  5. Demonstrating up-to-date expertise in project management and applying this to the development, execution, and improvement of the LMS.
  6. Managing and guiding the team through the project life cycle on best practices.
  7. Actively contributing to process improvements.
  8. Proactively identifying gaps in resource plans or project objectives and facilitating resolutions with executive management.
  9. Providing metrics and status to executive management.
  10. Aligning the project to objectives and needs of the organization.
  11. Modeling compliance with organizational policies and procedures and supporting the mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  2. Two years hands-on experience in developing web applications using modern web technologies.
  3. One year experience in implementing advanced learning technologies.
  4. One year experience of working in an academic environment.
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills and capability of motivating team members.
