About the Job:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Small Medium Business (SMB) team as a Senior Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving our largest revenue stream.
We're seeking a dynamic senior sales professional with exceptional communication skills and proven leadership abilities to manage and develop managers who oversee global sales teams.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Managers, each managing their own team of Account Executives, to meet and exceed bookings and revenue targets.
- Establish and maintain a robust pipeline, ensuring consistent execution and accountability, and track KPIs and other operating metrics to assess team effectiveness.
- Develop and implement sales management training and coaching programs to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the organization.
- Teach and measure your sales teams' key responsibilities, including prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new business to existing customers.
- Follow a disciplined approach to maintaining a current pipeline and leverage all Motive offerings in sales pursuits.
- Listen to calls and coach Account Executives/Sales Managers to improve skills and provide guidance on sales and negotiation techniques.
- Understand, audit, and forecast business to leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Qualifications:
- 4+ years in International Sales, US Market preferred.
- 2+ years in Sales leadership (2nd line leadership preferred), technology/product company preferred.
- Proven track record in B2B sales and demonstrated success with a short sales cycle in a fast-paced competitive market.
- Exceptional contractual and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand and hold team accountable for pipeline management.
- Self-starter who can take on an ambiguous project and be resourceful to get it done.
