Job Title: Senior Financial Controller

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Controller to oversee all financial activities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Authorising vouchers, double entries, and maintaining accounting database entries in the accounting software.
  • Preparing year-end financial statements.
  • Overseeing and reporting daily bank positions.
  • Finalising periodic bank and accounts reconciliation.
  • Monitoring and checking cash movement, including petty cash.
  • Preparing and executing accounts payable/receivable transactions.
  • Managing billing, purchasing, receipts, and expenses.
  • Recording and maintaining export and import transactions/remittances.
  • Recording and maintaining refunds and rebates.
  • Preparing, maintaining, and filing tax returns with relevant authorities.
  • Preparing monthly payroll.
  • Organising documents and responding to letters and notices from government departments.
  • Handling bank correspondence and communication.
  • Knowledge of work related to social security and employee benefits institutions.
  • Performing other assigned tasks by management.

 

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Accounts from a reputable institution.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the accounts department of a textile sector or related manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
