About Us:

We are seeking a skilled Development Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for fundraising and non-profit management.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grant writing, donor relations, and strategic planning. They will be responsible for researching and identifying new funding opportunities, developing compelling proposals, and managing the application process.


Additionally, the Development Officer will work closely with program teams to align fundraising activities with organizational goals and objectives.


To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with donors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Research and identify new funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and individuals.

  2. Develop and write compelling grant proposals that meet the needs of our organization and align with the goals of our funders.

  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, including regular communication and updates on the impact of their support.

  4. Work collaboratively with program teams to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies that meet the needs of our organization and achieve our goals.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Non-Profit Management, or related field; Master's degree is an advantage.

  • At least three years of experience in non-profit fundraising, with a strong focus on grants and donor relations.

  • Proven track record of securing grants and managing donor relationships.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with donors and stakeholders.
