Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Communications Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing communication strategies that engage stakeholders and promote project goals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of a comprehensive communication strategy, facilitating reporting and effective communications on project activities, progress and results, and supporting stakeholder engagement efforts.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with project goals.
  2. Facilitate reporting and effective communications on project activities, progress and results.
  3. Support stakeholder engagement efforts, including engagement with project beneficiaries, external partners and implementation teams.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or equivalent field.
  2. A minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in communications is required.
  3. Experience in using computers and software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) as well as web-based management systems is required.
  4. Demonstrated ability to translate complex material into engaging digital content for social media platforms is desired.

Key Skills
  1. Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  2. Strong understanding of social media platforms and their uses.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
