Job Title: Bookkeeper (Xero Software) Location: Remote Job Type: Full-Time  About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper with proven experience in Xero accounting software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting financial reporting. Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) are essential to collaborate effectively with our team and clients. Key Responsibilities Record, reconcile, and maintain accurate financial transactions in Xero. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice preparation and processing. Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and other financial accounts. Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports and assist with budgeting. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local regulations. Support payroll processing and expense claims. Communicate with clients, vendors, and team members in clear, professional English. Assist in audits and provide accurate documentation when required. Requirements Proven experience as a Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant. Strong working knowledge of Xero software (certification is a plus). Solid understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices. Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written). Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to manage time effectively and work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and basic office tools. Preferred Qualifications Xero Advisor/Payroll Certification. Experience working with international clients. Background in preparing reports for management and external stakeholders.
