We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with expertise in U.S. accounting standards to manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with GAAP and U.S. tax requirements. This role will work closely with accountants and management to support financial reporting and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IRS regulations, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and vendors as needed.
  • Maintain organized financial records for easy access and audit readiness.
  • Use accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite for bookkeeping tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–4+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably handling U.S. accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and basic U.S. tax principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
