About the Role

As a Frontend Engineer at Beam, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our design solutions to life and shaping the user experience on our Beam AI platform. You'll be at the forefront of crafting seamless interactions and visually compelling interfaces that drive user interactions and engagement. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building great products, has strong leadership skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Responsibilities

This role will require you to leverage your technical expertise to craft intuitive user interfaces for our Beam AI Platform. Your key responsibilities will entail the following:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain high-performance, responsive web applications.
• Develop interactive and dynamic user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, and while ensuring code is maintainable, scalable, and optimized for performance.
• Implement responsive design principles to deliver seamless user experiences across various devices and browsers.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold best coding practices and standards.
• Utilize state management tools like React Query and Redux Toolkit to optimize data flow and performance.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to seamlessly integrate design concepts into functional, visually appealing interfaces.
• Develop reusable and scalable UI components using Styled Components or similar libraries.
• Play an active role in maintaining and organizing our GitHub repositories, ensuring version control and best practices.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve frontend issues to enhance application stability and user experience.
• Keep up with emerging frontend technologies, tools, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in our development workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Frontend Engineer or in a similar role, specializing in crafting responsive and visually appealing web interfaces.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and , with a track record of building modern, scalable applications.
• Strong command of HTML and CSS, including responsive design principles and best practices.
• Experience with state management tools, such as React Query and Redux Toolkit.
• Familiarity with UI libraries (e.g., Material-UI) and modern styling approaches like styled-components.
• Proficiency with version control tools, particularly Git and GitHub.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles, with the ability to collaborate effectively with designers to create intuitive user experiences.
