Job Summary:

The Human Resource Trainee will assist the HR department in carrying out various HR functions including recruitment, on-boarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR documentation. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in HR operations, offering the trainee a learning platform to develop professional skills and understanding of HR processes within a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates for various positions.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, maintain candidate databases, and update recruitment trackers.
  • Support onboarding activities, including documentation, induction, and orientation sessions.
  • Maintain employee records, both in physical and digital formats.
  • Assist in drafting HR letters, notices, and memos as required.
  • Support payroll data collection and attendance management processes.
  • Participate in employee engagement initiatives and internal communication activities.
  • Assist in organizing training sessions, workshops, and HR events.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HR policies and company standards.
  • Perform other HR-related tasks as assigned by the HR Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • At least 6 months of experience or a completed internship
    in HR operations or recruitment.
  • Sound understanding of HR processes and employment documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Professional attitude with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
