The Role:

We are seeking a skilled
mid-senior level Azure DevOps Engineer
to join our team, focusing on building and maintaining
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
solutions in our
Microsoft Azure
environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure using
Bicep
(with flexibility to work with
Terraform
), ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 and GDPR standards. This role is critical in supporting our .NET application stack and establishing secure, scalable, and automated deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep or Terraform for Azure resources, following industry best practices and ensuring infrastructure compliance.
  • Implement and enforce security standards and resource organization patterns within IaC templates to maintain consistency and traceability.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate application and infrastructure deployments, ensuring reliability and repeatability.
  • Integrate security and compliance checks into the deployment pipeline, ensuring adherence to ISO 27001 standards and GDPR requirements.
  • Implement proper dependency management, monitoring, and auditing capabilities for all deployed resources and infrastructure components.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 4+ years of DevOps experience.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification.
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, with strong proficiency in either Bicep or Terraform.
  • Extensive experience with Azure DevOps services, including Repos, Pipelines, Boards, and Artifacts.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
  • Solid knowledge of security best practices for cloud infrastructure, with focus on identity management and access controls.
  • Understanding of networking concepts as they apply to Azure Virtual Networks, subnets, and security groups.

Preferred Skills:

  • Additional Azure certifications (e.g., DevOps Engineer Expert AZ-400, Security Engineer)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code in highly regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of Git version control and branching strategies for infrastructure code.
  • Experience with Azure Key Vault for secret management and integration with IaC deployments.
