About the Role:

We are looking to onboard a DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience, primarily focused on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role is crucial for managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliable deployment pipelines, and maintaining high system availability. The engineer will be involved in client-facing discussions and must demonstrate strong communication and technical ownership.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for cloud-hosted services on major cloud platforms.
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain infrastructure on major cloud platforms.
  • Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform.
  • Ensure system uptime, scalability, and cost optimization on major cloud platforms.
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Join client-facing calls to discuss infrastructure status and deployment planning.
  • Maintain security, compliance, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning when required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 year of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineer role.
  • Hands-on expertise with major cloud platforms.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS/GKE).
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Cloud certifications for major cloud platforms.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK stack).
