We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Sustainability & Carbon Footprint Analyst to lead Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), GHG inventories (Scopes 1–3), Digital Product Passports (DPP), and carbon credit work. A core responsibility will be designing, submitting, and tracking Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitments—including near-term targets and the Net-Zero pathway—so we can decarbonize credibly and transparently.

Key Responsibilities


• SBTi leadership: Develop the target-setting strategy (near-term & net-zero), prepare SBTi submission packages, coordinate validation, and build the reduction roadmap aligned to SBTi pathways; monitor KPIs and annual progress.


• GHG accounting: Build and maintain Scope 1–3 inventories per GHG Protocol/ISO 14064; manage activity data, emission factors, assurance, and base-year recalculations.


• LCA & EPDs: Conduct cradle-to-grave LCAs (ISO 14040/44) in SimaPro/GaBi/OpenLCA; prepare EPDs where applicable.


• Digital Product Passport (DPP): Structure product-level sustainability/traceability data and integrate with ERP/PLM for EU DPP compliance.


• Carbon credits: Evaluate project eligibility, quantify VERs under Verra/Gold Standard/CDM, and support offset/claims governance.


• Reporting & compliance: Contribute to GRI/CSRD disclosures, client questionnaires, and auditor interactions; maintain auditable evidence trails.


• Enablement: Build dashboards (Excel/Power BI; Python/R a plus), train internal teams, and support supplier engagement on data quality.

Qualifications


• Degree in Environmental Engineering/Science, Sustainability, Chemical Engineering or related.


• Hands-on experience with SBTi (target design, submission/validation, progress tracking); familiarity with sectoral pathways (e.g., SDA, and FLAG where relevant).


• Proficiency in LCA tools (SimaPro, GaBi, OpenLCA) and databases (e.g., Ecoinvent).


• Strong command of GHG Protocol, ISO 14040/44, ISO 14064, PAS 2050; experience building Scope 3 models and supplier data programs.


• Excellent quantitative skills and stakeholder communication; ability to turn complex analyses into clear actions.
