Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled
Shopify Custom App Developer
to design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify apps tailored to our business and client requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Shopify APIs, app development (public & private), Liquid, and modern web technologies, with the ability to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions.

  • Design, build, and deploy
    custom Shopify apps
    (embedded, private, or public) based on business requirements.
  • Integrate Shopify stores with third-party systems (ERP, CRM, payment gateways, shipping, analytics, etc.).
  • Work with
    Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, and GraphQL
    to build robust and scalable solutions.
  • Develop features for custom checkout flows, product personalization, subscription models, and automation.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Shopify apps, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX teams to ensure apps deliver seamless experiences.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Stay updated on Shopify ecosystem changes, Polaris design system, and industry best practices.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in
    Shopify app development
    (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
  • Understanding of
    Shopify Plus
    features and custom checkout extensibility.
  • Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills.
  • Experience with
    payment gateway integrations
    .
  • Experience in building SaaS-based Shopify apps for the Shopify App Store.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
