Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom WordPress themes and convert Figma/XD designs to WordPress
  • Build and customize WooCommerce stores
  • Create custom post types, plugins, and implement REST API integrations
  • Optimize website performance (Core Web Vitals, caching, image optimization)
  • Handle website migrations, security hardening, and backups
  • Troubleshoot and maintain existing WordPress sites

Required Skills:

Page Builders:
Elementor, WPBakery

Frontend:
HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery

Backend:
PHP, MySQL

WordPress:
WooCommerce, Custom Post Types, ACF, Query Builder, AJAX, REST API, Hooks

Optimization:
Minification, caching, image optimization

Other:
Figma/XD to WordPress, website migrations, SSL setup, security basics

Bonus:
Custom plugin development experience

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of WordPress development experience
  • Strong portfolio of WordPress projects
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience with responsive, mobile-first design
