WordPress Developer

with strong technical and problem-solving skills to join our on-site team in Islamabad.

About the Role

As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining high-performance WordPress websites and web applications. This role requires hands-on experience with
custom functions, API integrations, theme customization, and server management

. You will collaborate with designers, content specialists, and international clients to deliver efficient and visually appealing web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, plugins, and custom functions.
  • Implement and customize APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Manage and configure servers (cPanel, hosting environments, backups, SSL, etc.).
  • Customize WordPress themes and build custom layouts as per design requirements.
  • Optimize website performance, responsiveness, and loading speed.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and fix technical issues across browsers and devices.
  • Ensure website security, regular updates, and compatibility with the latest WordPress versions.
  • Collaborate with design, content, and project management teams for seamless execution.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum
    2 years of professional experience

as a WordPress Developer.
- Strong command of
WordPress, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL

.
- Proven experience with
custom theme and plugin development

.
- Expertise in
custom PHP functions

and
API integration

.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of
server management and hosting environments

.
- Familiarity with
responsive design

,
cross-browser compatibility

, and
SEO best practices

.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with
    U.S. based or international clients

- Proficiency with
page builders

(Elementor, Divi, WPBakery).
- Experience with
WooCommerce

and eCommerce integrations.
- Understanding of
Git version control

- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and time management skills.
