About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Biomedical Service Engineer to join our technical team. The engineer will be responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of medical equipment, and related biomedical equipment at hospitals and diagnostic centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, calibrate, and maintain analyzers and laboratory instruments (Blood Gas, Electrolyte, and Chemistry analyzer).
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) and ensure equipment uptime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware/software issues on-site or in coordination with senior engineers.
  • Maintain accurate service logs, parts consumption reports, and client feedback.
  • Provide training and technical support to hospital laboratory staff.
  • Ensure compliance with company service protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
  • Support inventory management by reporting parts usage (membranes, sensors, cartridges, etc.).
  • Assist Service Manager with field visits, escalations, and emergency breakdown calls.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Diploma / B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or relevant technical field.
  • Experience: Fresh graduates welcome. Experience with analyzers, sensors, or lab equipment is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems (Windows, MS Office, Excel/Sheets).
  • Willingness to travel to hospitals/clients within assigned territory.
