About the Role:

We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead and scale engineering teams delivering our enterprise-grade Title Production System. The platform currently uses Java, Wildfly, and MS SQL Server, with modernization efforts adopting Angular and Spring Boot.

While our core stack is Java-based, we welcome candidates with strong hands-on experience in either Java or .NET both bring the technical depth and leadership mindset we value. This role blends engineering leadership, technical oversight, and software delivery ownership, ideal for someone passionate about building high-performing teams and delivering reliable enterprise solutions.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop software engineering teams to achieve delivery excellence.
  • Oversee end-to-end software delivery, ensuring quality, scalability, and timely releases.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Product Managers, and QA teams to define and execute technical roadmaps.
  • Guide teams working on modernization using Angular and Spring Boot.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, design patterns, and secure coding standards.
  • Strengthen CI/CD, source control, and automation practices using Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Identify and resolve delivery risks, dependencies, and technical bottlenecks.
  • Champion Agile principles and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

What We're Looking For:

  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering and delivery, including 4+ years in leadership or management.
  • Strong technical background in Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate) or .NET (Core, C#).
  • Experience with MS SQL Server and modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or similar).
  • Proven track record in delivering complex enterprise applications in an Agile environment.
  • Hands-on familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Title Production Systems or other large enterprise platforms.
  • Familiarity with JavaFX, Wildfly, or JBPM.
  • Exposure to microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, or cloud-native design patterns.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps, security, and compliance best practices.
