Cook/Helper

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Cook/helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing and serving meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and supporting day-to-day kitchen operations. This role requires attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of daily meals as per instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, dining, and storage areas.
• Wash, clean, and properly store utensils, equipment, and ingredients.
• Assist in receiving, checking, and organizing groceries and supplies.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines strictly.
• Support senior cook/chef in cutting, chopping, marinating, and other pre-cooking tasks.
• Monitor kitchen stock and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Ensure timely preparation and serving of meals.
• Handle kitchen equipment and appliances carefully and safely.
• Perform additional tasks such as cleaning, arranging, and assisting with other duties as required.

Required Skills & Abilities

• Basic knowledge of cooking and food preparation.
• Understanding of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Physically fit to handle kitchen tasks (lifting, cleaning, standing for long hours).
• Positive attitude, punctuality, and willingness to learn.

Education & Experience

• Minimum Matric / High School education (preferred).
• Prior experience as a kitchen helper, assistant, or cook is an advantage .
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Shift & Location

Timings: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Location: 15th Floor, Al Hafeez Executive, Gulberg, Lahore
