Company Description

The National Incubation Center (NIC) Lahore is a pioneering initiative supported by the Ignite National Technology Fund and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT). NIC Lahore is led by a consortium headed by Netsol Technologies and collaborates with industry leaders such as HBL, PlugNPlay Tech Center, Daftarkhwan, Beaconhouse National University, Accelerate Prosperity, UET Lahore, and WCCI. NIC hosts 50 startups annually in its incubation program and 10 startups annually in its acceleration program, with each startup receiving PKR 5 million in funding in the acceleration program from the Ignite National Technology Fund. NIC Lahore has a strong commitment to support women entrepreneurs, ensuring at least 25% of the inducted startups are women-led.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager Community & Events, located in Lahore. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for planning and organizing events, managing community engagement, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include event coordination, developing community outreach programs, coordinating with startups, and enhancing the NIC network. The role also involves collaborating with partners, supporting marketing activities, and ensuring successful execution of events and programs.

Qualifications

  • Event Planning, Event Management, and Coordination skills
  • Community Engagement, Community Outreach, and Relationship Management skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Marketing, Promotional Activities, and Stakeholder Collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in the startup ecosystem or a similar incubator/accelerator environment is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field
