About the Role

This position acts as a critical bridge between the customer support team and the core engineering teams, ensuring technical issues are resolved efficiently and root causes are identified. You'll be part of a dynamic fintech environment, helping maintain the stability, reliability, and performance of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve complex technical issues reported by customers and internal teams, including analyzing application logs, database queries, and system metrics.

  • Incident Management: Participate in on-call rotation to respond to and manage production incidents, working to restore service and communicate with stakeholders effectively.

  • Technical Escalation: Identify and escalate bugs or recurring issues to the appropriate engineering teams, providing detailed data and context for timely fixes.

  • Tooling and Automation: Build and maintain tools and scripts to automate support tasks, improve diagnostics, and streamline workflows for the broader support team.

  • Documentation: Create and update internal knowledge base articles and runbooks to help others resolve common issues more quickly.

Required Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Strong experience with the Linux command line, scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PHP), and solid understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL preferred).

  • Problem-Solving: Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

  • Communication: Excellent ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Software Knowledge: Strong understanding of web applications, APIs, microservices, and modern web architectures. Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, Splunk, or Prometheus is a plus.
