Octaloop Technologies is a dynamic and innovative technology company based in Islamabad, Pakistan.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Developer to join our team. This role will focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities, primarily through the Upwork platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful bidding and client acquisition on Upwork, coupled with a solid technical understanding of software development principles. Your ability to effectively communicate our technical capabilities and build strong client relationships will be crucial to your success.

Responsibilities
:

  • Actively monitor and analyse the Upwork marketplace for relevant project opportunities.
  • Develop and submit compelling and tailored proposals that clearly articulate our value proposition.
  • Effectively communicate with potential clients on Upwork to understand their needs and answer their questions.
  • Contribute to the development of our Upwork strategy and best practices.
  • Potentially expand business development efforts beyond Upwork as needed.

Qualifications
:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
  • Fresh to 1 year of demonstrable experience in bidding and winning projects on the Upwork platform.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to write persuasive and effective proposals.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain technologies.
